Monalisa Hasson, the new Human Resources vice president, Monday, Nov. 13, at the Winslow-Maxwell Overlook. Hasson is replacing Patricia English, who retired at the end of june.
As head of human resources, she oversees the welfare of some 1240 employees at City College. She is hoping that her personal background, professional experience and ongoing engagement in higher education will help her help employees do a good job working with students.

The Walton County Human Resources Director has been arrested for insurance fraud following an investigation by Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Department of Financial Services Bureau of Insurance Fraud.
On October 17, the sheriff’s office was notified of potential insurance fraud involving an employee within the human resources department. An investigation was launched and discrepancies were found in the insurance file of 48-year-old Ella Mae Walters.
Independent hotel investment and management firm Aimbridge Hospitalityhas named Ann Christenson as its newest SVP of human resources. As SVP of human resources at Aimbridge, Christenson will help oversee the organization’s human resources operations, from leadership development to recruitment and staffing. She will also assist in organizational growth strategies.
Christenson comes to Aimbridge from Moorhead, MN, bringing more than 20 years of human resources experience. Before joining Aimbridge Hospitality, she was the chief people & culture officer for TMI Hospitality where she oversaw all HR processes and internal communications.
