Adriene Hairston, MS, SHRM-SCP, has joined Cincinnati Metro as vice president of human resources. She is responsible for overseeing Metro’s human resources department and organizational training.

Hairston is an accomplished human resources professional with expertise in HR policy, diversity and inclusion, change management and compliance. Prior to Metro she served as director of agency human resources at Western & Southern Life. She has also held leadership roles with Fifth Third Bank, Luxottica and Humana.

R.D. Henry appoints new director of human resources

Henry & Co. has appointed Carey Craig as its director of human resources. Reporting to chief financial officer, Chris Flickinger, Craig will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the HR department.

Cerro Gordo County employee hired as Mason City Schools’ human resources director

The Mason City School Board has hired a longtime Cerro Gordo County employee as its human resources director. Prior to reorganizing with new members, the board on Monday approved hiring Tom Drzycimski 6-1.

Drzycimski has worked for Cerro Gordo County for nearly 20 years as administrative officer and zoning administrator.

Ventura Unified introduces new assistant superintendent for human resources

A new assistant superintendent of certification human resources started in the Ventura Unified School District earlier this month and was introduced at Tuesday’s school board meeting.

Jeff Davis, who began work Sept. 1, was previously the assistant superintendent of human resources at the La Cañada Unified School District. Prior to that, he worked in the Conejo Valley Unified School District for seven years.

Sandra Holzgen Joins the Macatawa Bank Human Resources Team

City of Abilene names human resources director

Brenda Alexander has been named the director of human resources for the city of Abilene, the city announced in a news release Friday.

She had been working as interim director for administrative services since June.

She succeeds Ronnie Kidd, who retired in June. His title was director of administrative services.

Augusta human resources director resigns

Michael Loeser, Augusta human resources director since February 2016, announced his retirement Monday

In a letter to City Administrator Janice Allen Jackson obtained by The Augusta Chronicle, Loeser said he will retire Dec. 31. The letter notes he is fully vested in the city retirement program and eligible for severance pay as a “senior executive staff” member under city personnel policy.
